BIKE RODEO
Club sponsors a Bicycle/tricycle Safety Rodeo in cojunction with the Centennial Library and the Glen Carbon Police Department Bike Safety officers. Kiwanians and Bike Safety officers administer a bike safety training obstacle course to teach children the proper way to navigate on publicwalkways and roads.
SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS VISITS
Kiwanians provide Santa and Mrs. Claus for several visits around town in December. The first Saturday in December is dedicated to kicking off the holiday season with the Santa Express at the Centennial Library. They also make a visit a the local American Legion Post for the Annual Childrens Christmas Party and pass out gifts to many eagerly waiting youngsters.
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Each year the Kiwanis Club of Glen Carbon sponsors a number of programs
throughout the Glen Carbon Centennial Library's Summer Reading Project.
HOMECOMING PARTICIPATION

The club participates in the Annual Glen Carbon Homecoming selling Hot Dogs, Brats and Corndogs along with Boy Scout Troop 1034 with soda and water sales.
Profits from this venture are spit with the troop to help offsets of troop expenses and to award camperships to scouts who need financial help getting to camp.
LITTLE LEAGUE CONCESSION STAND CLEAN-UP
Each year Kiwanians pitch in and volunteer to clean up the concession stands in preparation of the Little League baseball season.
SCOUTING
We are the proud sponsors of Boy Scout Troop 1034 and Cub Scout Pack !034 in GLen Carbon. Countless children have become young men through the efforts of many great leaders and parent supervisors.
