As a Kiwanis club member, you'll have a chance to change young people's lives--by getting directly involved.

 

Kiwanis clubs sponsor Service Leadership Programs. These Kiwanis-family organizations allow kids and young adults to serve their communitites and develop leadership skills. Led by students and guided by adults, Kiwanis youth programs include:

 

• Kiwanis Kids. For elementary school students, age 6-12. Also includes mentoring

      and recognition programs for kids who need extra encouragement:

• Terrific Kids for the promotion of character developement

• Bring Up Grades for the support and rewarding of academic improvement.

 

• Builders Club. For middle school and junior-high students. The world's biggest service and leadership program for students age 12-14.

 

• Key Club. For high school/secondary school students. The world's oldest and largestm service program for students age 15-18.

 

• Key Leader. A leadership progam for high school/secondary school students-including a weekend event with workshops, discussions and team-building activities.

 

• Circle K International. The world's premier organization for collegiate and university community service and leadership development.

 

Kiwanis also offers a service club for adults with disabilities. With Aktion Club, members become capable leaders and give back through service.

 

Within each program, the benefits are a two-way street. Kiwanians invigorate their own spirit and sharpen their mentoring skills--while taking part in the development of young people in your community.
